Payments, Stipend Summaries, and Receipts
Your dashboard includes a Payments & Receipts section where you can view stipend summaries, check payment status, and download receipts for your records.
Accessing payments and receipts
Sign in and go to your Dashboard. Scroll down to the Payments & Receipts card, which has two tabs: Stipend Summaries and Receipts.
Stipend summaries tab
Stipend summaries show what you owe or have paid for your intention requests.
In Sacramentum, a stipend summary serves the same purpose an invoice usually would: it summarizes what is due (or already paid) for your intention requests.
Filtering stipend summaries
Use the filter buttons to view:
- Outstanding — Stipend summaries with a balance still due
- Paid — Stipend summaries that have been fully paid
A summary line shows the count for each: "Outstanding: X · Paid: Y"
Stipend summary information
Each stipend summary displays:

| Issue Date | When the stipend summary was created |
| Due Date | When payment is expected (if set) |
| Total | The full amount for the stipend summary |
| Balance Due | Amount remaining to pay |
Viewing and paying a stipend summary
Click View / Pay to open the stipend summary details. The stipend summary viewer shows the parish information, your contact details, each intention included, and the amounts.
For outstanding stipend summaries: A Complete offering button lets you pay the balance online. Clicking it takes you to a secure Stripe payment page. After payment, you're returned to your dashboard and a receipt is generated.
For paid stipend summaries: You can review the details and use the action buttons to print, copy a link, or download a PDF.
Receipts tab
Receipts are generated after payment is completed. They serve as your official record of payment.
Filtering receipts
Use the filter buttons to view:
- Active — Valid receipts
- Voided — Receipts that have been cancelled (e.g., due to a refund)
A summary line shows the count: "Active: X · Voided: Y"
Receipt information
Each receipt displays:

| Payment Method | How you paid (Credit Card, Cash, Check, etc.) |
| Total | The amount paid |
| Status | "Issued" (green) or "Voided" (red) |
Viewing a receipt
Click View to open the receipt details. The receipt viewer shows the parish header, your billing information, each intention with its amount, and the total breakdown (including any additional offering or processing fee coverage).
Voided receipts: If a receipt has been voided, you'll see a note explaining when and why.
Receipt actions
From the receipt viewer, you can:
- Print — Opens your browser's print dialog for a paper copy
- Email — Sends a copy of the receipt to your email address
- Download PDF — Saves a professional PDF to your device
Downloaded PDFs include the parish branding and all receipt details—suitable for tax records or charitable contribution documentation.
Downloaded receipt PDFs can be used to document charitable contributions. The receipt includes the parish's information, your name, the amount, and the date.
Payment methods
Receipts show the payment method used:
- Credit Card — Online payment via Stripe
- Cash — Payment made in person at the parish
- Check — Payment by check
- Bank Transfer — Direct deposit or wire transfer
- Other — Miscellaneous payment method
If you paid online, the method will be "Credit Card." Other methods appear when parish staff records an offline payment.
When receipts are generated
For online payments: A receipt is generated automatically when your payment completes. It's usually available within seconds on the success page and in your dashboard.
For offline payments: The parish creates a receipt manually after recording your payment. Check back in your dashboard or contact the parish if you need a receipt for an offline payment.
Troubleshooting
My receipt isn't showing yet
Receipts are generated after payment confirmation. If you just completed payment, wait a few seconds and refresh. If it still doesn't appear, check your email for the confirmation.
I need a receipt for a cash payment I made at the parish
Contact the parish office. They can create a receipt for offline payments and it will appear in your dashboard.
My stipend summary shows a balance but I already paid
It may take a moment for payment to process. If the balance persists after a few minutes, contact the parish to verify payment was received.
